A house is now available on one of the most exclusive New York City roads – and is directly from an old English game.
The two-bedroom unit $ 749,000 sits along the Pandoma Walk, a closed 104-year-old enclave on the upper side of the West.
The idyllic community co-op-with its mock style, plus blue, green and red shutters and doors-it’s not like nothing else in Manhattan.
“It feels like you are in a series of television from Britlo,” said Compass Cole Burden’s agent, who is co-lists the property with Natalie Weiss of Nest Seekers. “Is a very special experience.”
The listings at Pandoma Walk are extremely rare. 27 Secret Street houses, reaching 60 units, reside outside the standard city road network – similar to Sylvan Terrace in Washington Heights.
The micro-land has moved between roads 94 and 95 of the West, only blocks away from Riverside Park and Central Park.
The 600 -square -foot unit currently on the last bid sold approximately 30 years ago, according to Burden. The house includes two bedrooms and a bathroom, with a small kitchen and neat construction. Burden said he was initially brought to prepare the apartment for sale through his Simplifyc company, which he co-owned along with his partner Caleb Dicke. The burden described the house as a renewal project.
“We have procured this in a place where buyers have some options to truly enter and make this property of their own,” he said.
Barra and Weiss both have a special link to the unique community of the community told The Post that he first discovered the nearby community in his 20s, through a close friend living there, and Weiss grew up in Pandoma Walk.
The very private community was built in 1921 by the architectural firm King and Campbell, and commissioned by Irish developer Thomas Healy.
Sharmi Bucolik, of the old world of the Pandal Walk, was directly inspired by the group of a popular game of the same name. The British historical comedy “Pogreer Walk” became premiered in 1910 and details nine days in the lives of couples living along a row of houses in front of the Thames River.
The property, which counts among some Mews and Mew Lookalikes of the city, was ranked in 1982. Happy stars like Humphrey Bogart, Rosalind Russel and Lilian had once owned houses along Lane Otherworldly.
The house includes a monthly 2,000 -dollar monthly maintenance fee, in ranking, with equipment as a direct service, porter, bike storage and private storage units available to residents.
