A monstrous manager won a deserved place in the pantheon of the terrible bosses after the attack to give up an employee’s annual break as they would reach their foreign destruction.
The miserable mass was detailed in a viral video Tiktok by Ben Askins, a UK career expert who reads anonymous submissions from employees about their abusive bosses of border crossings.
“C’mon, you need to know that you are not allowed to do it,” he said – while Shan Shan for over 850,000 followers.
According to text exchanges, Honcho had sent messages to the employee: “Hey, I’m sorry to do so so late, but there was a mistake with the annual leave and I will have to cancel the second half of your annual leave this week.”
“You will have to be in the office on Thursday and Friday,” they added, to whom the fiery worker responded, “but I’m already in Mexico?”
Despite their protest, the toxic taskmaster doubled, continuing, “Sorry, as I said, there is nothing I can do. I will update the system now saying you will be inside.”
When the desperate underlining explained that it was impossible for them to return it in time as they were “literally to another place”, the manager demanded that they change their travel arrangements.
“You will have to move your flights,” they said. “I’ve just checked and there is an evening on Wednesday that you can get.”
Employee applied over the answer, writing, “This is a right joke? You’re asking me this seriously?”
“Obviously not a joke. And I’m not asking, I’m telling you the situation,” replied the manager, greedy. “I appreciate that it is not ideal, but many people are out on Thursday and Friday and so you will have to go back here by then. I have updated the system.”
However, the employee put the Qibosh in every notion that they were ending their vacation ahead of time.
“You can do what you want,” they said. “Even if I would like to go back in time (which I can’t), I wouldn’t do so, and if it delays this I would report this.”
Askins found the behavior of the boss particularly regular, as they were making employees pay a “mistake” they would make with the annual holiday database.
Work Maven said that Oopsie’s inclined Oopsie should have a freelancer or reshuffle to cover the better change than to mistake employees while they were living up, south of the border.
Askins concluded that the annual holiday was a “right not a privilege” – and that employers could not “F -about with it”.
Tiktok commenters agreed. “Time to normalize don’t answer during the holidays. Don’t answer. It’s not a debate,” one said.
Another wrote, “The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency in the mine.”
“I actually kneel on bosses and managers who think they own you simply because you work for a company !! is sick,” one third said.
