Businesses have increasingly chosen to stay open, leading to what is now one of the biggest retail sales and trips of the year.

Government buildings
Government offices, post offices, courts and schools are closed.

US stock markets and banks are closed on Monday.
Most FedEx and UPS delivery services will also not be available on the day of commemoration, although some special services will be accessible.
Retailer
The Costco Warehouse Membership Club will be closed in a memorial day, but most retailers will be open, with many people trying to seduce customers with major promotional sales. Hours can change by location.
