More cats have been lost in New Jersey than in any other country in the US – and may be the result of the state of the garden that has some of the “deadly” routes.

The study further found that Huskies and Chihuahuas were reported to be missing more than any other dog breed, with Siamese cats and the most disappearing.

“When a special name is very common among pets across the country, it naturally appears most often in lost pets reports,” the study notes.
