A Queensland man has finally come forward to demand his $ 1.3 million in lottery profits more than a month after the draw was announced – simply because he just didn’t believe it.
Hunting for the winner of the Gold Lotto draw came to a successful end on Thursday, with the man from Gympie, near the Sunshine Coast, calling the victory “surreal”.
He held one of the three winning entrances of a country -scale division on Saturday Gold Lotto Draw 4563, April 12 – earning a considerable 1,030,668.54 $.
While the winning entry was not registered, officials had to wait for the marker holder to check their ticket and move forward in person.
“I went to local news to check my ticket and young girls behind the counter said they couldn’t pay the price,” the man said.
“That’s when I knew it was big.”
“I just had to sit down and meditate the victory for a month. I couldn’t believe it.”
The man said he did not tell anyone about the victory, and plans to keep it “download”.
“He is very surrealist,” he said when an official from Lott confirmed his wind.
“It takes a lot to sink.”
“My mother and two uncles were great worshipers of the golden archives.
He plans to buy a new car himself with profits.
The winning entry was bought at Gympie Next at the Central Shopping Center, with owner Kelly Goatham adding that there was a “little explanation” when the big news was broken.
“My co -owner Justne thought there was a snake at home from the way I had shouted at her,” she said.
“The testimony is in the pudding that we, in fact, can sell an entry of a winning division.”
“This is the first time JUSTNE and I have sold a Division entry a winner since we took over.”
“We came early to decorate our store with balloons and posters, and we shared the exciting news with all our customers.”
The winning numbers on Saturday Gold Lotto Draw 4563 on April 12, 2025 were 45, 3, 22, 17, 13 and 6, while the additional numbers were 29 and 31.
In the same draw, two ticket holders in Western Australia and another in Queensland were also winners of the Division one.
