It may be a man’s world, but women are losing their hair as well.
Now there is a sweet way to fight: the telecommunications undertaking of its hypers and just launched the first clinically proven clinical prescription tire, specially made for women fighting chronic hair loss, and they promise to have taken FDA to support what they fulfill.
The post spoke to Dr. Jessica Shepherd, the company’s medical chief, to get the low level of the new Biotin brand + Minoxidil Gummy and why the loss of women’s hair is finally taking a moment in the spotlight.
More than a bad hair day
Pouring 50 to 100 strands a day is generally considered normal – but for many people, hair loss goes beyond that.
By the age of 50, about 85% of men and 40% of women experience visible hair, according to the American Hair Loss Association.
“Female hair loss usually appears as general rarity throughout the head, while male hair loss includes more defined patterns such as a line of hair or bald stains,” Shepherd told The Post.
And it’s not just grandmother’s problem. Studies show that 12% of women begin to lose their hair before they reach 30.
Despite the widespread experience, Shepherd said that the health care industry has historically focused on the masculine model of the male model.
“This leaves unique conditions for women, such as polycistic ovarian syndrome, menopause and postnatal hair loss, mostly indecisive and misunderstood,” she explained. “As a result, many women feel unheard of and invisible, with their resting concerns.”
To make things worse, Shepherd said that the connection between hair and general well -being – especially factors such as inflammation, stress, nutrition deficiencies and hormone inequalities – often ignored, preventing women from taking full care they need.
“We understand these specific challenges that women face and proactively consider how we can access quality and appropriate quality treatment,” she said.
A rubber -player switch
Minnoxidil-commerce sold under the name of the Rogaine brand-is the only FDA-approved medicine to treat male and female model hair loss. But Shepherd said the dose and application varies in second place for the hormone and the physiological differences between the sexes.
Here comes Gummy New Gummy.
The green apple with fragrance and just a recipe, is the first gamar formulated by the dermatologist specially made for the chronic loss of women’s hair. Combine minidil for biotin density for fullness – a double double dose of clinical aid of supported hair.
“Licensed medical providers on the hers platform can work with you to find the best plan for your hair, including the description of personalized treatments with clinically proven ingredients based on your needs,” Shepherd said.
And unlike messy foams or tough pills to calm down, this gummy is created to be a treatment not a daily job.
“The truth is, it doesn’t matter how well a medicine works if it is not constantly taken,” Shepherd said. “Our mission was to help women promote access to knee desire, not routine forced.”
But not all gummies are created equal – in fact, many have been criticized for nutritional discrepancies and lack of supervision.
Shepherd said it guarantees quality by producing their gummies in a FDA -regulated pharmacy that follows the strict standards of American pharmacopia.
But do hair grow … everywhere?
Minoxidil – whether oral or current – can sometimes cause unwanted hair growth in places beyond your head. Gummy can have the same side effect.
“While we know that this is not ideal, shaving, rupture or waxing must make deceit,” Shepherd said.
“A provider through it will review the possible side effects with you, will address any questions you may have and provide guidelines adapted to your health profile,” she added.
More than just hair
Hair loss treatments do more than increase your thread number.
“When a woman experiences hair loss, the emotional number can be meant,” Shepherd said. “They can feel shame, solitude or isolation and hesitate to share their battles, even with loved ones.”
One study found that 52% of women feel extreme concerns about hair loss – nearly twice the 27% of men who said the same.
The study also showed that 53% of women felt less physically attractive and 65% less sex, compared to only 35% of men.
“We are actively addressing these emotional aspects by promoting a compassionate, supportive community and making these conditions more approachable and more accessible treatments to affirm every woman’s unique concerns as valuable and important,” Shepherd said.
“We all deserve the ability to feel the best – how we feel inside how we can present to others, but most importantly, for us,” she continued.
Beyond the surface
Regardless of your gender, Shepherd said “healthy hair starts from the inside.”
To prevent thinning and retaining thick hair, it recommends a proactive, holistic approach. It means starting before your beaches fall.
“In addition to the right hair care routine using soft, nutritious products to support a healthy scalp, lifestyle, stress and nutrition are also critical,” Shepherd said.
“Managing stress levels through lifestyle changes such as sleeping and training, and a diet rich in nutrients with enough protein, healthy fats and vitamins, are essential to maintain a healthy hair head,” she added.
