While many vacationers are ready to throw their bathroom costumes, Slather at SPF and go to the beach for fun in the Sun this summer – researchers at Tideschart, a major platform of tide prediction, are warning travelers to remove from these 10 dangerous beaches.
Makes what makes a beach dangerous to sit? Shark attacks, deaths associated with Surf and Hurrians, of course.
The Tideschart team carefully analyzed over 500 coastlines in the US and decided that Florida has the most combat beaches. The 10 beaches that made the cut were given a result of 100.
New Smyrna Beach grabbed the number 1 place on this list with the score 76.92. The Tideschart team said the beach, which lies on the northwestern side of Florida, is most likely to be hit by brutal hurricanes because of its location.
And to make things worse, this coast has won the title of the “capital of the world shark bite” itself as it has the highest likelihood of shark attacks. New Smyrna Beach also experiences 12 browsing fatalities between 2010 and 2024.
Entrance to no. 2 In this terrible list is the Beach lagoon with a 67.75 rating. This beach of Panama City had the most associated surf-39 deaths to be accurate of all the beaches analyzed, except for the nine shark attacks.
Popular tourist destination, Daytona Beach – which is on the eastern side of Florida – came to third place in the list 64.47. Thanks to the powerful beach currents, it has reported 27 deaths reported in Surf and almost 70 sharks attacks.
Caution, Miami Beach Lovers: This coastal city was ranked 4th with a score of 46.49, 13 surfed deaths and almost 20 shark attacks.
The Indialant Ocean Beach Park can be considered on the world’s smallest beach board – but it is safe. This beach of accidents gained a 44.64 score for its nine browsing deaths and 30 shark attacks.

Although Florida may have the most dangerous beaches, fortunately, New York is home to one of the best beaches in America.
Cooper Beach – located on the shores of Southampton in the Eastern end – was given this title by the Environmental Science expert in Florida International University University Stephen P. Leatherman, AKA “Dr. Beach”.
This beach was praised for “white quartz sand” and “large sand dunes covered by American beach grass crossed with extravagant palaces”.
“It’s a big, beautiful beach,” Leatherman CNN told.
