These are some of the bold predictions to emerge from a study of 2,000 Americans who examined generating forecasts for what may happen in the next 40 years.
The results showed that 48% of General Z think that the pension will not be an opportunity for most people in 40 years, while 51% think there will be a digital alternative that arises to meet the needs of many who plan to try to cope with later life.
The survey conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Levlane found that only 41% of responses own their homes.
Of those who do not do so, only 35% believe they will ever own a home – while 25% said they plan to rent for life.
