Experienced travelers agreed that the city offers completely in the way of nature, architecture, food and culture.

As the summer rotates and temperatures rise to unbearable levels across the country, many participants in this now-viral thread recommend vacation in Seattle to calm down.
“I can be biased because I grew up there, but I am still convinced that no city in America has better wine than Seattle,” one commenter said. “Warm but not too hot, rarely rain, mountains around you, water everywhere, not too many mistakes. Just the perfect place for summer.”
