A family “Leave it in Beaver” of modern days.
In an era when many women are trying to get away from traditional gender roles, Maria West is doing the full opposite – proudly mastering the title of being a “trading woman”.
Seattle’s wife wants nothing more than being a mother and woman staying home while her real estate husband goes to work throughout the day.
Most of the days, the 30-year-old can be found at home fulfilling her homework, taking care of her family and tending their home-and she does it all while wearing a full face, sometimes a sundress and a smile on her face.
“I don’t want to look like one of the boys,” the mother of two said what is already.
“Even in the chaos of motherhood, I want to feel gentle, beautiful and grounded.”
The 30-year-old said it is not useless to want to look and feel good while she tends to the needs of her family.
“I want to reflect love and care for my home, my husband and my children – and it starts with the way I keep myself,” she told the exit.
“Sometimes it’s a full face of the makeup and a dress, other days is a brushed tail and a lounge set – but I always try.”
West admits that her stay is quite unique – especially these days.
“Culture tells women to be afraid to leave behind, Hus, to choose independence for intimacy. My rebellion is building something with my husband and tells my children that motherhood is powerful, not passive,” she said.
And this mother is not the only one embracing yogurt, dinner at the table until 6pm.
A mother and influential in California, Gretchen Adler lives a similar life – however you get her home ways Suzy a step rage.
Adler has gone viral on social media for her time in the kitchen making raw versions of classic dumping food for her family, like home-made cheez and oreos.
“I think many women are looking for this lifestyle,” Adler, 38, told The Post.
“They want to take their homes again.
“I don’t think there should be a negative connotation at all,” she added.
And despite these women who receive criticism from others – they look quite greedy.
“Some people assume that choosing the house means that you are reprinted or small -minded, which is the wild consideration I am doing here making soup and thinking of my business,” told West what is already.
“And if someone still thinks that being at home is not real work, I invite them to keep a living baby, fed and outside the kitchen counters for 12 hours straight – [where there are] No rest and no bonus, ”she said.
