Walmart is issuing a new security initiative – and buyers are not satisfied with the latest corporate attacks to reduce crime in store parking throughout the country.
A customer in Bentonville, Arch., Posted a video tiktok that captured the robot security guard by patrolling the shop parking lot.
The now-viral video presented Tikkker, Goldnemusic, following the robot about the parking lot, asking questions like “What is your name?”
Near buyers appeared equally interesting in the newest corporate security guards, as evidenced by a woman in the video who was seen kneeling on the sidewalk to try to make a closing photo of the robot in Roaming.
The strange scene described in the video quickly massively measured the online attention and retired to thousands of views and comments.
Amid the tariffs, the rise in prices and the supply chain interruptions affecting businesses across the country, Walmart has recently been under criticism by customers.
“We will do our best to keep our prices as low as possible. But we give the size of tariffs, even at the reduced levels announced this week, we are unable to absorb all pressure given the reality of narrow retail margin, the call.
This latest robot -related expansion, as seen in the Tiktok video, turned on only further interruptions. “That’s why prices will rise,” one viewer said.
“Price fluctuations are a normal course of business and are influenced by a variety of factors,” a Walmart spokesman told The Post earlier.
Many additional commentators also express disappointment in the corporation.
“Walmart will do nothing and everything not to pay someone,” posted a user.
“We should have kept our local grocery stores in business,” wrote another shameful commentator.
Walmart initially begins to test the efficiency of robots in selected stores in 2015, when they were first used to stock and labeled shelves.
In the years after that, the company has continued to use new and improved robotics technology, it, and supervision in an effort to modernize stores, continue with competitors and provide guyers a positive experience for buying.
In an effort to more efficiently prevent and report the crime of parking, Walmart began installing Lot Cops solar safety towers produced by Live View Technologies parking in selected countries.
Although they are located in Walmart parking lots, most of the surveillance footage captured by these Walmart Lot police goes to the implementation of local law in the event of a criminal incident.
“Information is active, whether it is taking a license plate from a vehicle. All that functionality is on the platform,” whnt19 told Live Technologies David Studder technology director.
“Mostly I see waste, [people] Pour trash all over the place. I have some friends who have experienced car breaks, “Hava resident Makakilo Richard Suzuki told Khon2 about the crime of parking.
Like the Lot Police, who serve only as supervision and obstacles to crime, Walmart robot security guards are intended to increase the visibility in the parking lots, and as many suspected commentators, are operated remotely by the prevention of losses working inside stores.
While many users express dissatisfaction with this costly expansion of supervision, others lasted a degree of understanding to Walmart.
“Undoubtedly not the first of its kind,” wrote one commenter. “The hospital that my wife works in there have been robots like this for the last five years.”
For now, Walmart robot security guards have been set only in selected places across the country, but as commentators noted in viral ticking, perhaps this action is simply another possible indicator of the recession.
