Over one -fifth of the parents have left their child of school age to plan 100% of family vacations, according to new research.

The survey of 2,000 parents of school-age children found that 22% have left their children to plan all the holidays-every last detail.

And parents can encourage this, as 82% of parents surveyed said they were best withdrawn when the children had a speech.

For the latest “dream journey”, children imagine something quite epic: a 13-day journey through six countries and five countries, traveling through a road trip (60%), a flight (57%) and even a cruise (33%).

But not every dream requires a passport – 40% of children will prefer to stay here in the US, and their main choices include Florida, California, Hawaii, New York, Alaska and Colorado.
