Agreeing to exchange places with 30,000 meters may seem like the generous thing to do – but there is a great reason to always say no, according to internal airline persons.
Many people reject the claim for variaus reasons which can often lead to dramatic, unplanned entertainment during the flight.
But a flight companion is now warning of big-hearted travelers who usually do not mind changing the potential chaos that may follow-as a result of the seat switch.
“Just be careful!”, Leanna Coy, a member of Cabin Crerew, based in Connecticut, advised in the title of her warning clip.

“If the person with whom you spend does anything to act on the plane, which can now turn over you,” Coy told a Tiktok audience with over 19,000 viewers.
Skyway Savant explained that she was recently a passenger on a United Airlines flight to Jordan when a woman asked her to confiscate a place in a row for the same accommodations in a different row.
“Normally, I’m absolutely 100% to the change of countries,” Coy said. “Your lack of planning should not make me make me that I have to move.”
However, in an effort to “not be AB – CH, for once” she kindly made trade – just to become a cockroach with what she would make a terrible mistake second later.
“If this lady decides to smoke in the bathroom or something, it can turn over me because my name will be manifest,” Coy Cared, adding that the concern made it “anxious” while flying.
“Then I realized. I’m flying United,” she said. “If you know anything about United’s service, if you want to buy drinks or anything, you have to put your card in the pre -time app, which I have done before.”
Uploading information about debit or credit card in an airline app usually gives customers the opportunity to buy goodness in flight through contactless payments. Instead of needing to delete the plastic piece, the purchases are charged to the card and the passenger’s seat number.
“So I [said to] Flight doctor, ‘Hey, I just changed places with someone, but my card is connected to my account. Does this mean that they now have access to my card? “
She was surprised to hear, “Oh, yes. Technically, they act.”
Coy explained that passengers who order food or drink must verify their seat number before completing a transaction. But, more often than not, Coy says Air Trippers foolishly buy mid -flight and soda without realizing that they come at a cost.
“Now, so I think this lady was trying to cheat me out of my money on my card? No,” Coy admitted. “But that’s just something to be aware.”
“I fully support you if you don’t want to change places,” she added. “You are right in the place you have chosen.”
Miter Amirzadeh, an Orlando -based flight companion, agrees – unless, of course, a child is involved.
“The next time you feel angry or irritating that you do not take the place you want, you have to remember that you have not paid your place.
However, grumps who refuse to give up their chairs for parents with young children may expect to feel her anger.
“I’ve said before, ‘okay, so you’ll look at the baby?’ She agreed.
