‘Brooklyn’s Waldorf-Astory’ finally has a next year of failed renewal attempts

The new owners of Hotel Bossert, Summerroad, boast of a record of adaptive reuse projects – the firm gained attention to its successful restaurant of the former Hanover Square house building in 2023. Its founder, Ian Ross, is a resident of Brooklyn.

“Summerroad plans to honor the rich property history and to restore and reopen the building as residence,” the company wrote in one state.
