The school is out for the summer a little early.
Patricia Horton, a mother of two in Florida, withdrew her children from the last two days of school because she insisted there was no reason to go.
“I don’t see the point,” Horton shared into a Viral video tiktok posted on May 22. “
Horton, whose children are 7 and 12, admitted that her parenting style is very different from the way she grew up.
“My parents, they made me go to school every day,” Horton added. â € every single day, until the last day of school every year.â €
Horton revealed that her parents would let her lose her second grade at a doctor’s appointment or if she was extremely ill.
The mother argued that the children were not learning in the last days of the class and meant that they were coming to work clearly.
“I have cleaned a lot of discs,” Horton discovered as she talked about her childhood experience during the last days of school. “This is what we did the last week of school when I was a kid. We cleaned discs, and cleaned classes, and I was a professional in the cleaning disk.â €
“I am not doing it with my children,” Horton added. â € œstay Home, Baby, her summer. Time to go.â €
Horton claimed that teachers have no problem with her decision.
