Australian comedian Will Gibb has sparked a lit debate among Aussies after sharing a “rude” experience in a taken restaurant.
In a clip posted on social media, Gibb revealed that he had entered the food knot wearing headphones before he would get them out to place a order on the counter.
After exchanging greetings and ordered his food, the 26-year-old stood on his side and placed his headphones again.
“I’ve got my headphones and I’m seeing this person make my food. I can say he was lugging her, so I went to my phone to have a last look,” he said.
“Then I’m looking around and thinking that it was probably not my food. So I look up and the boy is staying in the counter, looking at me,
“I make eye -to -eye contacts and pulled my headphones and he said ‘yes, I will not worry calling out [your name] If you have your headphones. ‘
“I completely withdrew,” he added.
The clip, which has been seen over 182,000 times, left the commenters divided.
“Completely on the side with the server. Legend’s affairs,” said one viewer.
“I am with the server. I see rude to constantly have headphones inside,” said another.
“Once you go to one place, especially when you order something, the headphones out and they don’t come back until you’re over. The server is polluted,” one third added.
“I’m with the server here. You’re in the wrong. No sympathy,” said a fourth.
However, others were quick to be protected by young Aussie.
“People on the side of the server should calm down,” said one.
“I don’t think it’s right, you were paying attention literally? I’ve been working in hospitality for years, and I would rather call it and I would have to get it invited than to worry about teaching someone some kind of lesson,” another said.
“I can’t believe that people are against the will, it’s so funny just for a wave or a finger up when it’s ready,” a third suggested.
Some even managed to discriminate against people to bring their headphones.
“I wear headphones when I go to shopping because everything is so much superfluous and I don’t want to worry,” one said
“As a girl in anxiety I can’t go to public without my headphones in or I’ll cry,” said another.
“I wear headphones for sensory issues most,” echoed a third.
“As someone who uses my airpods to hear better, this mess,” added a fourth.
